Dr Stellmacher is a private GP at The Broad Street Practice providing consultations for patients of all ages.
Dr Stellmacher is able to offer second opinions, onward referrals to a private Consultant specialist or liaise with patients’ GP surgery. Blood tests and further investigations can be arranged privately or via patients’ own GP, following an initial assessment. She can offer private prescriptions, where required, but within our setting is unable to prescribe controlled drugs (eg morphine, some very strong pain killers, tranquilisers and sedatives, and medicines which help with drug addiction). She is also unable to offer vaccinations, injections or smears.
Dr Stellmacher is particularly keen to offer care and support to elderly patients, working in close collaboration with their family members, if desired. As people get older and develop complex, multifactorial health issues, having time to fully consider all aspects of their medication and previous health problems, is invaluable. In this situation, when needed, extended consultations of a full hour are available.
With your appointment booking confirmation email and registration form, you will receive a health questionnaire where you can detail previous illnesses/surgical procedures and current medication/allergies. Please be sure to complete it. Copies of recent blood test results and scan reports, along with clinic letters are also helpful – please bring them to your appointment if possible.
Please note that Dr Stellmachers’ clinic rooms are on the ground floor to minimise access problems for those who struggle with their mobility.
Dr Stellmacher holds clinics at The Broad Street Practice on Wednesday and Friday mornings.
Appointments can be made by calling 01780 480889.
