Dr Stellmacher is a private GP at The Broad Street Practice providing consultations for patients of all ages.
Standard consultations are of 40 minute duration, giving time for her to really listen and have an unhurried discussion about the heath concerns you have for yourself, your child or a vulnerable or elderly family member. Short appointments of 20 minutes are available for patients with uncomplicated histories who need help and advice for acute infection/illness.
Dr Stellmacher is able to offer second opinions, onward referrals to a private consultant specialist or liaise with patients’ own GP to access help through the NHS. Blood tests and further investigations can be arranged privately or via patients’ GP surgery and she can offer private prescriptions where required.
Dr Stellmacher is particularly keen to offer care and support to elderly patients, working in close collaboration with their family members if desired. As people get older and develop complex, multifactorial health issues, having time to consider fully all aspects of their medication, care and support is invaluable. In this situation, when needed, extended consultations of a full hour are available and patients are asked to provide a summary of medical history, including details of previous illnesses/surgical procedures and current medication/allergies.
Dr Stellmacher holds clinics at The Broad Street Practice on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings one week and Wednesday and Friday mornings the next.
