Success in marathon (and half marathon) running has a lot to do with preparation. You’ve got your training programme together, but what are you doing about injury prevention and massage work to ease your muscles and enhance their performance?

Glyn Davys – rehabilitation specialist and Sports Massage therapist here at the practice – is a runner himself and is training for the Northumberland Coastal  Marathon on the 24th Feb, and then the Edinburgh Marathon on the 27th May (when he’s hoping to achieve a time of under 3hrs 15 mins) – so he knows what he’s about!

Glyn will help you prepare for any event prior to the end of May, and says that if anyone is mad enough to be planning a marathon in the summer he’ll extend the offer!  Likewise, if you get injured and have to withdraw from your event, he’ll honour the package with normal sports massage sessions.

Call us here at the practice and arrange to have a phone conversation with Glyn to plan your programme of treatment and prepare for success!
