Kate has been a qualified Art Therapist for over 22 years, with Art Therapy experience working in NHS adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health, residential care homes for young people and secondary education.
As well as working at The Broad Street Practice Kate runs a private practice from home and provides group/individual Art Therapy on a voluntary basis for Mind Space (adult mental health group) and the Hollyhocks cancer support group.
Kate has a post graduate Diploma in Art Therapy, a 2:1 BA Honours degree in Multi Disciplinary Design and a Diploma in General Art & Design. Kate is a BAAT registered private practitioner and clinical supervisor. She facilitates supervision sessions for other Art Therapists as well as staff at the South London Gallery. She possesses an enhanced DBS certificate, is registered with the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC – Registration Number AS00432
Kate has two children, a boy and a girl, both of whom attend secondary school.
