INDEPENDENT ASSOCIATE OSTEOPATH

We are looking for a confident, competent, conscientious and self-motivated self-employed osteopath. Our busy and successful practice (established for 25 years) comprises Perry & Anthea, husband and wife osteopaths and practice directors (BCNO ’95), 4 other osteopaths (2 graduates from the BCNO & BSO in the 1990’s, one from Oxford Brookes 2016 & one from College of Osteopaths 2017) plus 2 physios, an acupuncturist, herbal medicine practitioner, private GP, massage therapists, foot health practitioner, a mental health team of 4 etc. All our practitioners, other than the directors, are self-employed.

The practice occupies two Grade II listed buildings, with 8 beautifully presented and well-appointed treatment rooms and a studio for talks and small group exercise classes. With an excellent, full-time reception team.  The osteopaths in the practice have seen 342 consults and 1441 follow-ups in the 6 months, Nov 20 to Apr 21, with over 80% of clinic time booked.

We need help to meet the growing demand for osteopathic services in our community. We are looking to contract a self-employed osteopath to start as soon as possible and to provide some locum cover for the directors over a three-week period from mid-July. Thereafter there is opportunity to provide services for 2 days or the equivalent each week, plus one Saturday morning every four weeks (or more!) and ideally one regular late weekday evening.

Great interpersonal skills, a zest for life, down to earth personality and a solid structural osteopathic approach is essential – with experience or a willingness to learn the application of ultrasound, dry needling, and taping techniques.

This is a great opportunity for either an excellent new graduate or an accomplished practitioner with a few years experience, wanting a settled working environment with the opportunity to grow, earn and succeed. Remuneration by tiered percentage split so increasing earning potential the more patients are seen.

The practice is located in the heart of the beautiful (and well to do) town of Stamford in south Lincolnshire, just 1 mile from the A1, midway between Peterborough & Grantham.

Please get in touch by email in the first instance at directors@thebroadstreetpractice.co.uk
