Nigel low res BWWe are delighted to announce that Dr Nigel Hume, well known local GP, is joining The Broad Street Practice on a part-time basis in the New Year.  Nigel will be able to offer patients of all ages…

• Unhurried, in-depth consultations to discuss fully your health and medical concerns – however complex or long-standing.
• Complete and comprehensive review of medications with a view to reducing or rationalising drug regimens.
• Full Health Check Medicals or medicals for HGV, Motorsport, Adoption or other vocational purposes.

This service is outside the remit of the NHS but patients would normally remain registered with their usual NHS GP.  Patients are able to self-refer for a consultation and Nigel will liaise with their NHS GP as appropriate.

TADNigel wants to be known as the Tablet Avoiding Doctor – with a drive to reduce and rationalise medications where possible, minimising the patients pharmacological burden, and encouraging better health through changes to behaviour, lifestyle, working environment and exercise.

Appointments will be available each Saturday morning from 8.30am to 1pm from the start of 2014.  Call the practice on 01780 480889 to make an appointment or check Nigel’s page on our website for more information; The Private GP Service, Dr Nigel Hume – Profile
